Originally a photograph, Rach and I were at Long Beach Island, New Jersey for our anniversary when I noticed someone had built an entire traditional Chinese guardian lion statue out of sand. I snapped a picture and only later realized I had captured a tender moment between a father and his daughter in the background. This is a paper cutout recreation of that image, cropped a recentered around them.
